Yeah if you have a slim PSP you can buy a cable to hook the PSP up to a TV. Something like this. Just be careful that you get the component cable as I think you need that specific type to be able to play games. You can get a composite cable for the PSP but you won't be able to play games over it (at least you couldn't on the PSP 2000 model).

Keep in mind that it won't fill up the whole screen, it will only take up about half of the TV screen with big black borders all around, and some games look a bit worse for wear blown up on a bigger screen, but for some games it's a great way to play.

I played through a lot of MGS Peace Walker on my TV through my PSP, twas great ^^.

Thanks for that, I'll go to pc world and try get one of those now I know what it looks like. My young fella is getting a 32 inch tv from 'santa' to replace his 14 inch. He likes his psp a lot so I was hoping he could play it on big screen. He is recently getting problems with it freezing and he has to take the game out to get it going again. I checked around on the net for solutions and it seems to be connected with the lazer. Damn thing is not even a year old. Again thanks for the good info.

Return it now, while you consumer right cover you for longer shops are less trouble to deal with under a year and you just need a receipt. If it has a laser read fault why get the cable?.

True, I just gotta find the receipt now. I suppose there is no point buying a cable until we get the psp sorted. Looks like he could be stuck with his chipped ps2 for another while.
