wud i be better off switchin to a diesel....if so can any1 tel me how much i'd be payin for diesel per week based on 400 km's?

    i have a 06 corolla....maybe switch to 06/07 1.6 to 1.8 golf or audi a4??

€50 a week is really not enough to warrant changing your car imo. You need to work out the actual cost of changing, for example, there's no point in spending €5,000 to save €10 a week.

    Change. That's reason enough.

Nothing wrong with newer Corollas at all.

OP, I wouldn't bother changing, the amount you'll save will be minimal.

to make it worth while changing you would need to sell your car and then buy a diesel for that amount. as said above no point in spending money to change to a diesel to save a small amount.. diesel will only really save you money if your driving a nice long motorway run or similar.. around town they dont get great mpg...

i have a diesel and would never change back to petrol unless i was buying a performance car..
