Hello I just bought a Topfield TF7700HSCI and I see one of those conditional access modules for it

Iv never had experience with them tbh so im not sure which type I need for my cyfra card and maybe down the line a JSC card

the seller I bought it off has a rex module so should that work with my cyfra card or would I need to download software for the cam ?

do you want to know what a cam is ?

or which cam to buy ?

Cyfra needs a conax cam. JSC is Viaccess and Irdeto.
If you dont follow, they are the encryption types.

Go with a multicrypt cam if you are buying one
but check first has your box got a card reader.

You might not need a cam at all. Just a flash.
Just noticed. you have two CI slots. No reader.

Dont get a matrix cam as it only does cyfra SD. You have a HD box.

The T-Rex is an old cam so be careful.
It might not do HD either but i could be wrong.
    Check first.
    Probably Dragon or Diablo needed.
You will have to do the homework.

alsat forum is a good place to ask these questions.

    cyfra+ cards are SECA(mediaguard) 2, not conax...

My Cyfra+ card would not work in my Digitalb hd receiver with a conax card slot so I really doubt that the card would work in a conax cam

I'm pretty sure Cyfra is SECA Mediaguard.

I just did a quick Ebay search on a cyfra cam and this was the only result that turned up. I'm not sure if it would work or not but it looks good.
