UPC Cisco EPC2425 Media Server..

    guys how do i set this up on my ps3?..do i need a static ip?..cos i havent a clue how do make one:oanyone who did with on that modem can you write a small guide?

    also when/if i get it set up can i stream movies/music to the ps3 so they are saved on it?..cos im sick of going back and forth all the time with my peuney 2GB memory stick:(

    It's not that it should be in a different place, it's just that this is answered in multiple threads already!

    Download ps3mediaserver, you'll be able to stream the majority of your files with absolutely no hassle!

    yep i seen threads on it before but when i searched i got no results, can u link me to it?

    i was asking about links for threads about streaming stuff to your ps3..i got ps3mediaserver now and all is working ill test movies out tomorrow

    Just click on the Playstation tab, then click "Search the forum" and enter ps3mediaserver and all the threads containing that word will appear.

    Hi Marky,
    I have the same problem and have googled it to death and have found many people with the same problem with this router. I have tried everything to get it working, EVRYTHING. I found a thread somehere that says that media servers dont work on that router. I cant remember why, its been a long time and i've since given up. If you find the magical solution then please share! 'Till then i'll be using a USB key.
    Its annoying that UPC choose to use that one.

    i downloaded ps3mediaserver then enabled media server thing in network settings on my ps3..then that was it, it was somehow setup..try that and hopefully you get the same luck:)
