    Hi,

Anybody have any info on doing the J1 with the GAA?

Has anybody here ever done it? good/bad experiences etc...

    Thinking of trying New York.

Are you talking about the San Francisco GAA? ASAIK, the GAA goes through USIT for the visas, however they'll accept a J-1 from any company but they don't deal with them themselves.
