DAB Radio

I would not buy a pocket DAB radio for the simple reason that they will chew up batteries, I just checked the website of www.pure.com and www.revo.co.uk and neither of them manufacture compact portable (pocket) DAB radios, that should tell you something. I have never heard of that brand that Argos are selling.

DAB involves decoding digital data into analogue sound so a DAB radio has a far greater power requirement than an equivalent FM radio.

    Update on the Argos radio:

The brand name is Aigo and if you go to the Aigo website (the logo on the website is the same as the logo on the Argos radio so it's the same company) you will see no mention of a DAB radio which tells me this is obsolete stock, do NOT buy one.
