Hi, I am going to a wedding on the 27th of December and am wondering about what to wear, alot of people seem to be wearing black dresses but I dont really want to wear a black one but yet dont want to be all colourful. Ive never been to a winter wedding so am wondering is there a color code or what colors can I wear?

    Thanks

Navy/dark royal blue are big in at the moment, also the whole black and gold trend. Or if you're really stuck and find a nice black dress, pimp it out with colourful accessories!

what about a chocolate brown dress with gold/cream acessories - still going with the christmassy feel but not following the sheep and going with black?

i agree with the above posts. Theres no reason you have to wear black.
There's lots of really lovely 'xmas party' dresses out now. I love royal blue too, red/burgundy colours, there are a lot of greens in this year too.
The only things to avoid are the pastel colours you'd usually see at summer wedding.
I personnaly think this is the best time of year for buying dressy clothes.
    Best of Luck!!!

I think Red would be really good & xmasy or else purple/plum.
You can accessorise with black bag, shoes jewellery etc..

How about a nice rich purple? That's a very now colour...

You can jazz it up a bit with silver and black accessories. I reckon that'll look very elegant.:)

Yeah i think the rich deep colours are what to go for but with plenty of nice jewellery. I would still wear a knee length one but make sure you have a nice warm coat for the church bit as there will most likely be a fair bit of standing around!
