06 VW Passat - Second Keyfob Not Working

    Hi folks,

    I have a second keyfob for my 06 Passat which stopped working. I replaced the battery in it and it's still not functioning...

    Does anyone know if it has to be "matched" with the car - or with the other keyfob - to get it working? Hoping I can do whatever needs to be done myself rather than bringing it into a dealer.
