So another day with Ireland AM (hypnotically crap TV). There was a guy on about some diet thing he is doing. He cooks and prepares the food for you and delivers it to you for €100 per week. Seems like a good idea if your rich enough and too lazy to cook. So Anna, the particularly dense one, is chatting to him.

Chef: "So they come in microwavable containers"
Anna: "Would you need a microwave for that?"
Chef: ".....(stunned silence).....yeah, be best to have one"

    !!!!!!

Just because food comes in microwavable containers
doesn't mean it has to be cooked or heated in a microwave.
So I don't think the question was that stupid...

If it wasnt because she was stupid she would have phrased it differently.

Like "Could you heat it in an alternative way?"

It's one of those questions which are asked just to clarify any confusion people may have about cooking the food. It will stop them ringing in and saying ''How do you cook that then?''

Guy #1: This car has Turbo Diesel Injection
Guy #2: Do you need petrol for that?
    Guy #1: Wh....................what?

There should be no clarification for people dumb enough to wonder how you cook a microwaveable container.

    Seriously now.

Take warning stickers of everything and let darwin sort it out.

Ireland am is the tv equivalent of page 3. However, it is no worse than the garbage RTE produce in the afternoon with Maura Derrane and Claire Byne. The good news is that we the tax payer are not paying for the TV3 product. The UTV morning offering hosted by Chiles & Bleakley is diving down to the same level as Ireland am.

Maura Derrane hosts the programme on her own (mostly)which isn't too bad, while Claire has the thrill of Daithi beside her.........

OP, while you're heating the meals up can you put any wet pets into the microwave at the same time to dry them off? Would like to know if they clarified that cos it'd be a great time saver.

This programme is on before Jeremy Kyle.

    Enough said.
