WWE Hard to watch on "Sky"

    Hey Guys
I just thought I’d get the general consensus with ppl on this subject, but is WWE is incredibly hard to watch on Sky the last few months?..... Not from a storyline perspective ;-) but for the programme to be on TV.

I don’t want to turn this conversation into you should have Sky plus etc. I not one of these ppl who will watch Raw on a Mon night till 4:00, Its scheduled on Thursday at 9:00/10:00 and then your waiting about 60 mins to 2 hrs for it to come on because they have live cricket/golf etc on.

I was right here tonight waiting for it to come on at 10:00 and low and behold no Raw till 11:30(Live Tennis). I have nothing against tennis fans, but who will watch it at 10:00pm. Sky have 4 sports channels, surely there is a scheduling issue somewhere there?

I just believe if it’s scheduled for a certain time show it then (5 mins give or take).
I am just getting the impression that Sky don’t give a toss abt WWE fans when we prob make up most of their viewership alongside soccer.
OK So that’s my rant over :D

It shouldn't be on Sky Sports anyway it's not a sport!

Yeah they should make a new channel called Sky Sports Entertainment :p

I get where your coming from OP, but by contract all they have to do is show the live feed on Mondays and whatever else is up to them. (sky)
Another thing is that even though wwe does do very good business for sky sports, it's not on sports 1 or 2, as these channels you can get without taking the ridiculously priced (IMO) sport pack. So that narrows it down from 4 possible channels, to 2.

well WWE is one of the most extreme sports in USA history, other people might disagree on this with me, but these athletes in wwe train more than a normal athlete like a football, bastketball players does in a week........

    so know your facts buddy........:D

Why wouldn't they watch tennis at 10pm?

Exactly especially as Murray was playing in one of the biggest comps of the tennis year in the last 16.

Raw tends to be repeated quite a lot tho over the weekend and bottom line is usually a well put together highlight package. I like the fact that due to scheduling etc UK and Ire fans usually get the TV broadcast of SD before our american counterparts

As I said originally guys I have nothing against tennis/snuccer/cricket etc, I just don't see any reason for keeping it on for an extra 90 mins if its already on for 2-3 hrs. Sky Can easily show highlights of these. And from the other sport channels I've seen last night and others nights, there have been talk shows etc on. I.M.O. less important than a wrestling show which requires a weekly following..... again only my opinion

It's called LIVE Sport for a reason. No one can predict if a live knockout match in football/tennis or whatever is gonna go into extra time. Like someone said above, Afterburn & The Bottom Line are pretty good at showing the main points or Raw & Smackdown within an hour. And tehre are plenty of repeats during the week. Hell, Mondays Raw was on Sky Sports 3 this afternoon at like 2 o clock so there is loads of opportunites to watch it

    Sky Plus it.

If you don't have Sky Plus, get it.

Maybe Sky should think prospectively and have wrestling on a channel that doesn't have something live before it....they do have 4 sports channels.

Smackdown is the ****ing worst for this ****. A tennis match that has gone 6 hours overtime. I hate tennis. If I didn't have Sky+ I'd be ****ed.

Smackdown is a terrible show anyway. Nothing news worthy really happens.

Sky isn't the only way you can watch Raw every week you know.

Your lack of love of an occasional Vance Archer appearance is sickening :pac:

Funny how Sky have changed people's attitude to TV.

Gone are the days of actually making yourself available for the programme or setting the old VHS to record.

Sky slowly getting the term "Sky Plus" to replace "record"

Well remembr it was called "video plus"?
Where you would look in the telly magazine and the 7 numbers after the description you'd whack into the video and it would know when and where to record?
    What an invention!

Smackdown is the better show, in ring at least

Smackdown has been better than Raw for weeks.

No he's right, nothing news worthy really happens.
The wrestling is great, but there are no angles that get developed.

On the wrestling end if it, there probably isn't anything better than it right now.
