Just wondering if anyone using swype updated to the latest version? I just did and I'm pissed off cos its over 10mb. 5mb larger than the previous version with no move to Sd option. I'm now down to just 3% phone memory with the annoying low memory notification.

    New version available here

2.6MB English/Spanish only version available when going through the install process to save some space.

I gave it a shot this morning and it seems to be working quite well.

What's the difference between the Full version and the English/Spanish version?

I would assume the difference is mostly in the dictionary/db of available words and characters available on tap and/or hold movements and the SYM layer.

There's a possibility that they were able to slim down the algorithm, but I would doubt the changes go that deep.

Unless you frequently type messages in languages other than English or Spanish, save yourself nearly 7.5MB.

The full version includes more languages like Italian, Portuguese, German, French etc.

is it necessary to register on the site to get that beta? My swype actually expired today so would like a replacement but would prefer not to register if possible!
