Hey - I'm looking for a multimedia hard drive as a Christmas present - around the €100-150 mark. If anyone has any advice then it'd be much appreciated.

    Thanks :)

I've had good experience with the imoega screenplay 1tb (not the pro) and western digital (wd) tv live (gotta add a hard disk). Recently bought a few WD mini's for £30 from maplin and they work well for standard resolution files. The WD's play most formats.

IOMEGA multimedia drives look good on paper, but don't always live up to expectations. Also not the most user friendly.

An easy-to-use player to live beside your TV will cost more than a PC hard drive for occasional TV use.
