Nespresso Tools

So I was gifted a Nespresso machine and as I don't drink coffee I gifted it on agin. All worked well, much complimenting on good coffe until it became needful to open the machine for descaling or some such and it was discovered there were no tools with the machine to do so. Now I passed on everything I got I'm sure but I feel bad that my re-giftee can't use the machine to it's full potential.
After some extensive research, it would appear replacement tools can't be got but I was hoping some dedicated coffee lover on here could advise. Is there a repository for these tools that only coffe lovers with a secret password are privvy to?

Can someone help me out? I'd like him to be able to fully use the machine, I never would and it seemed wasteful to just have it sit in my parents garage when he could and has been enjoying using the machine...

I think you just but a descaling kit to run through the machine. Nespresso in Brown Thomas told me about them.
