Any good independent convenience/supermarket retailers left in Ireland?

    Hi all,

I have a new range of products for sale, that I will sell into retail/convenience stores and supermarkets. The products are not yet listed with the major groups i.e Spar BWG, Supervalu Centra, Londis ADM, Barrys etc. This can take a bit of time as per usual.

So i'm wondering if we could make a list of some independent stores who could be sold to direct.

An example of a store i'm talking about would be JC Savages Swords or Nolans, Clontarf.

Any stores from anywhere in Ireland would be gratefully accepted.

    Thanks,

    S.

    Joyces 365 - Galway
    The Cope - Donegal

and also Gala - AFAIK, they are independently owned.

Are you at the stage where you could at least talk to Musgrave? They own Centra, Supervalu, Daybreak and Londis & Budgens in the UK. They are also one of the biggest wholesalers in the country. Could be a quick way into the market, if you can cope with the demand.

And when you do talk to Musgrave, don't forget to bring a spare arse with you, because if you can do a deal, they'll want the one you're using at the moment. :D

Check out www.youproduce.ie. I hope this isn't considered spam, I'm honestly trying to help. Its a way for consumers to find local producers and see what stores/restaurants/delivery services are stocking their goods & sourcing locally. And its totally free.
