To Pod or not to Pod?

I recently bought a Legacy head, having been a Line6/modelling guy for years now. Thinking about getting a Valve King cab soon but I wanna know from people with experience/expertise, is it worth getting one of the new Pod HD floorboards or should I stick with my original plan of buying a load of single pedals? From a sound point of view I have no idea whether a Pod will basically cut out any warmness from the Legacy tubes or maybe it will add something. Advice?
