I used to get Scientific American, lots of interesting stuff.
The loonies corner by Clare Stong was my favourite.
Stuff you can do at home, like a particle accelerator or a TE mode nitrogen laser.
Anyway one day in 1966 after reading how to make a HeNe laser I turned the page.
At the end of the mag are book reviews and research results.
Normally boring, but this one caught my eye.
A study of human sexual response. Well it would wouldnt it.
I'd never anything so deliciously pervy.

I'll see if I can find it. Who said research was boring?

Oh dear god. I thought for a minute there having an MRI scan could induce an involuntary orgasm or something. How embarrasing would that be!

I wonder will any irish professors get charged with sexual harrassment for discussing this research with a female colleague? (again)
