Orgasms under MRI

A team of Neuro-scientists made a video of 16 women masturbating to orgasm. The video however is not of the women but of their brains under MRI.

Particularly interesting is the connection of sexual stimulus to areas of the rational thought processing in the brain.

This is just another in a long line of MRI scans made of humans under different stimuli. Sam Harris recently released a paper detailing some very interesting links in the brain connected with believing and disbelieving given propositions and the Neural Correlates between different forms of belief.

I used to get Scientific American, lots of interesting stuff.
The loonies corner by Clare Stong was my favourite.
Stuff you can do at home, like a particle accelerator or a TE mode nitrogen laser.
Anyway one day in 1966 after reading how to make a HeNe laser I turned the page.
At the end of the mag are book reviews and research results.
Normally boring, but this one caught my eye.
A study of human sexual response. Well it would wouldnt it.
I'd never anything so deliciously pervy.

I'll see if I can find it. Who said research was boring?
