    Its still a free to air box no matter what satellite you point it at. I did see an Arsenal game once FTA on a african channel but this would be pretty rare I'm guessing. The forign satellite forumwould have more info on this http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=622

    Just how difficult is it to set up a FTA satellite dish? Is it a job for an expert or a reasonable DIY job?

    Not another person who expects a Lidl fta box to give them 'free Sky'. The premier league are very protective of rights to live games so as was said in other posts all that you're gona get is Match Of The Day on a fta box.
    It won't matter what satellite you point the dish at,any premier league coverage needs some kind of subscription.

    Tony here has a great tutorial and lot's of advice available from the guys on here,just don't use a Lidl dish-they're useless.

    Your sky dish will be way too small...

    You might get hotbird and astra 1 but the rest your just dreaming!!

    If you want a good motorized set up get a cheap hd box and possibly a 1m dish with a motor...

    But the footie is only available with subs anyways!!:rolleyes:;)

    But if its just FTA stuff on 28 east you want, the lidl boxes will work...

    Note they are very poor, i had a comag and it burned out!!

    yes, for the free channels. It's not a Sky point, no such thing. Either it's Terrestrial, cable or Satellite (IF from distribution system and quattro LNB on decent size roof dish).

    Some apartments you have to pay a connection fee and small contribution to system maintenance to get the outlet enabled. How you know it's for satellite and not Cable? Same connector.
