    Did anyone else get this e-mail from Palmerstown house last week? Did anyone manage to book it? There must be a catch? I've tried the pro shop but can't get an answer

    South Dublin Ford Centre would like to invite you to there Open Weekend from Friday the 12th - Sunday the 14th of November.

    As a gesture, South Dublin Ford Centre would like to offer all Palmerstown Stud Golf Club customers a FREE Round of Winter Golf, a steak dinner and a pint!
    Offer valid until Sunday the 4th of December 2010
    Strictly one voucher permitted per four ball
    Subject to availability and requires 48 hours notice when booking
    (please print this email and present at the Golf Shop upon arrival)

    Is that your grammar mistake or the organisers?

    Thats how I read it. 4 players for the price off 3 which I'm guessing is at the full price and not the normal discount price.

    Fancy way of advertising a offer thats not a offer....think I would stay away from South Dublin Ford. You pay for 4 parts but only get 3?

    I wasn't sure about that either. I was hoping I could book a 2-ball and then it would work out half price.

    I rang 3 times yesterday and each time they left me on hold for 10 minutes and then came back and said they would get someone from the pro shop to call me back. When they said that the third time I told them to forget it. They then said they could make the booking for me, which really p!ssed me off. Why put me on hold 3 times if they could have made the booking in the first place!:mad:
