Putting Temp job on CV

    Hi all,

Just looking for some advice please from the people on here responsible for hiring.
I have what I would consider quite a good CV.I spent the last 10 years working for the same company and progressed quite nicely. I am now looking for work here in Ireland and like most, it is taking time.
I am currently working as a temp for a large company but that will be ending soon and there is no chance I will be retained. I am in my 4th week here so my question is do I add this Temp job to my CV?
Does it look good that I am willing to take even a low level temp job or will it look bad?

    Thanks for any responses :)

I'd imagine it would look good because it shows you're willing to work at anything???

Defo put it on, will show you are hard working and willing to be flexible!

Yes definitely put it on there. Potential employers understand the situation with temp jobs so it's not going to go against you or look bad. If, on the other hand, it was a permanent role you were in for 4 weeks and decided you didn't like the job and wanted to move on, then I would not put it on the CV. This could make employers wonder if you would do the same thing in their company and could harm your chances

I'd say it depends on what kind of job you are looking for. If it is about the same level as you worked for 10 years, then I'd suggest you not to put the temp work to your CV.

It depends on where the CV is going to.

If it's headed to a professional employer in your real area, then maybe have a one-liner about having temporary working doing xyz.

If it's going to another potential temp employer for a similar role, then definitely have it on.
