I have to look into changing our business bank. I just don't think our current bank is working with us.

Which bank do other posters find best for SME's at the moment.

I used to do my business banking with BOI but I changed to AIB because their online banking annoyed me. I'm happy out with AIB.

After 6 months, AIB invited me in for a chat where they were offering me all sorts of overdrafts and loans. I didn't persue any of the offers and questioned why they would offer me a loan as the business was only just paying its way and I was told, "there's a common misconception there's no money available to SMEs, well we want you to know there is money available." Could be helpful if you want a bank that "has money to loan". However, after what I heard today, after Wednesday they won't have any money to loan anyone!

Good luck with whoever you go with.

Been through AIB, BOI and NIB.

AIB service is great. Not sure about the comments on the running out of money ....

Building up a relationship with your account manager is key.
