well if it wount start who cares cause its a good craic

Honestely could be dozens of things too numerous to mention, battery, ignition. Could just give you a big list of things googling would do, but best to bring it to mechanic

You need to check for spark and fuel,

for fuel, listen for the fuel pump priming when you switch on the ignition or remove the fuel feed pipe from the fuel rail and switch on the ignition, if no fuel flows then the fuel pump/fuse/relay etc is the problem.

For spark, remove the plugs and refit the leads to the plugs outside the engine with the plugs resting on the rocker cover or any metal to ground them, turn the car over to see if they spark.

From your OP, have you just fitted a dizzy cap and now it won't start or was that changed at the last service?

These micra's were prone to flooding, remove the fuel pump fuse and turn it over for a minute or two, put the fuse back in and see what happens.

i'd say fuel pump (common problem), or worse again with all the bad weather rain-water may have leaked into your ecu check your passenger side floor for water thats a common problem with these cars too.
