Hey, I went to a J1 information meeting on Monday and USIT offered us the €99 J1 fee for free if we book within the next two weeks. I can't help but think they will add this €99 on to the price and say its an extra I need to pay or something though. I have read quite a bit of negative reviews on USIT so am unsure what to do. They gave me an estimate of €650 for flights to Chicago so basically want to know does this offer sound good or should I wait for SAYIT/Go4Less to open?

    Thanks :o

Yea the website isn't open yet. They have only started going around to colleges, I think I.T. Tralee was the first one.

They do this deal every year. There's usually a period in which the J1 is free. If you get the lot for €650 you'd be doing well. Now, if the flights are suddenly €1000, they're screwing you over.

I did what what you are thinking of doing. No hassle with them atall. €650 is good. Will charge you extra if you book flights abd then need to change dates. other than that they are good to deal with. Go4Less are also good to deal with. Try get direct flights to Chicago, much easier.
