Help with buying a decent laptop!

    Hey guys,

    I know there has probbaly been about a million threads on this already but I am clueless when it comes to technology!

    I figured it was about time to invest in a laptop or a netbook mainly because my boss has banned facebook in work and now im bored!

    I would just be using this to go on facebook, look up random things on internet, cloths shopping, you tubes, download music and movies etc.

    I figured I would need a fairly fast one, I get fairly impatient so is thr HD or the GB anything to do with how quick it works?

    I saw that the Samsung NC10 is alright but its only 160gb, would I need more than this do you think? Im looking to pay €450 max.

    Your help would be much appreciated!!

    Whether tte 160GB is good enough entirely depends on whether you would plan on downloading music to it, or videos. If you don't and only plan on surfing the net its perfectly adequate and the Samsung NC10 is a pretty good netbook. In a net book I would suggest at least 1 Gig of ram.

    if you plan on downloading music, videos and that kind of stuff then your better off with a laptop with a larger Hard Drive.
