ok so i have a year to do it but i havent a clue what to say? ok so i thank everyone for coming, thank the bride for agreeing to marry me, basically thank everyone. say how lovely the bride looks and everyone enjoy themselves............. anything else?

I think it's traditional for you to compliment the bridesmaid(s) (and toast them). Have 1 or 2 funny anecdotes about your best man and/or the bride. Keep them short, and acceptable to the audience. Compliment your Brides parents on the fine job they did bringing up the bride, and sit down and enjoy the rest of the day.

Short and appropriate stories for the bride and maybe your groomsmen and/or bridesmaids.
