Cancell Imagine Wimax Contract problem!!

    Hi all,
    I am now with Imagine Wimax 7M broadband, it is so slow and I called lots of times, the speed is still so bad, and on the phone they said my signal is perfect and they wont sent anyone to my house to check it (they never sort out my speed problem, I always get 1M, at night time I cant even open google, same problem in my friend's house)

    So I am gonna swith to Eircom, but the problem is I only got the Wimax for a month, but the contract is 12 months, so there is a 100 euro fee to cancell it, but the speed problem is the company and the product's problem, it's not my problem, I wont pay the 100 euro!

    I haven't got the first bill, and I went to the bank to check, but nothing in my direct debit, and they haven't charged my money, but if I cancell it, are they gonna use the direct debit to charge my money??(because they have my bank details)

    So can I take out my money from my bank account, and then the banlance is 0 euro, so they cant take the money, can I do that???
    Will they call the Garda?? I am afraid if I refuse to pay, they will do something bad, but the problem is theirs, because they never give me a good product just like the advertisement(better??? cheaper??? install fee 150???? faster????1M?????????)

    Could any one help me???

    This company is really baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddddd!!!!

    You need to raise a formal complaint and if they do not resolve in 10 days or so you can exit contract for gross non performance and no cancellation fee.

    Read this, complain by email and cc consumerline@comreg.ie ....subject line of email must complain the words "Formal Complaint"

    the main thing is to complain "in writing" or by email and use the heading "formal complaint".

    when you ring they will just spin you around in circles with bull about how thay can see your line is perfect etc etc

    i have wimax as well was talking to com reg yesterday day and they said to sent them an email and they have 10 days to fix it or com reg will handle it after that.
    Iv already told wimax that im not paying install or mothly bills thill its sorted and now to manger wont take or return any of my calls they are the worst peice of **** compy worse than eircom and thats bad!!!!
    Id regament goin with UTVinternet

    Did you sort this out? I'm in the same position myself. They claim unlimited usage but due to my so called "excessive" usage, they have limited my connection to 300kb/s!!!!!!! And im paying for a 7mb connection.

    Sadly I have to welcome ye all to the "Unhappy Wimax Customers Club"
    I wish ye didn't have to join but there ya go... :(

    I've had my own many problems that are listed in another thread here (I won't bore you with them but if your interested, see my signature) but needless to say, your far, far NOT on your own in this club of anger and frustration.

    According to an ex-employee of Wimax (see my site) it looks likely that the bad service is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. The best you can do is warn everyone about Wimax - thats what I'm doing via my site.

    got most of the money i oed then taken off the bill and there ment to have fixed all the probloms i was haveing got it turned back on yesterday and is working sound(so far) getting nearly 10mb speed (on 7mb) and it havent drop out once yet so will see how it goes getting on to com reg seems to work as before i did they wouldnt take my calls my in realy owely talking to mangers
