Audi A4 Question

    Hey Guy's,
    I have an Audi A4 2006 S-Line. Yesterday the Oil pressure gauge came on. So i checked the oil and it was low so i topped it up. This morning the light came on again. i checked under the car and its not leaking oil. any one have any ideas? Could the pump be gone?

    Is it the 2.0 TDi? They are known for oil pump problems.

    Is is indeed. Should i just take it to the garage?. i have the fecking NCT in 2 weeks :(.

    yeah i would get it to a grage..
    if the oil level is fine and the pressure light is on is not good....
    could screw the engine up...

    A guy I work with has an A6 with that engine and thought the pump was on the way out a few months back. Turned out to be a dodgy sensor but get it checked out as oil starvation from a non-functioning pump will kill the engine.

    OP - Is the light still on? IF so, DON'T RUN THE ENGINE AT ALL!

    I hope it's not a "BLB" engine? These give oil pump trouble in Audi / VW!!
