    Morning all.

I have some sort of bug in my Hotmail. I think i caught it of a friend who had the same sort of thing. Basically it sends a message to all my contacts (including my gmail account) pimping some sort of website selling tat.

Thing is that it comes up as a message form me with just the title "hi there".

Any idea how to get rid of this? If i have to i am prepared to shut down the entire hotmail account as i never use it anymore.

    Thanks in advance.

first thing you can do is change your password but "forget" all your auto login details on the messenger and windows live mail programs first. then change your password using your secret question.

But will that stop it sending out emails from the old hotmail account.

Im going to try to delete every contact I have on hotmail to see if that helps.
