Eh, just looking at one of my online accounts and I think someone is after messing up big time.

Basically, I am getting some services for free. And by free I mean , there should be a charge 30-40€ a month. What will I do?

Do I keep it going ?

Do I report there mistake in not charging me ?

If I keep it going, and they find out about there mistake will I have to pay ? It is there mistake, but I dunno. If I ring them and tell them there mistake on my account I risk been charged.

Oh AH what do I do ?

Pay up. Hookers can turn nasty when they don't get paid.

If there is one thing I've noticed is that GILF sites have if anything gone UP in the recession. Outrageous really. Don't say a word. They can already afford all the Complan they ever need.

What services are costing 30-4ok a month? Even hookers AND coke wouldn't top that much...

Seriously? If they can prove you used the service in question, then yes / I would imagine you are liable to be charged for it.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Thinking that one alright , but I log on online to check when the next bill was coming. Then it mentioned I had till December to use my services, and that my previous services were paid for, then it hit me that I didn't pay for last months services cause my bank account was untouched. So I check the online billing, and the last charge for my services was October. So I have gotten free services for a month.

    And no it's not hookers.

What would a person be paying €30-40 a month for?

    Is it Sky?

No sadly it is not Sky . I don't want to mention the service in case, I get sued for something outrageously tangy ..

Yup, I asked for there services. And got in touch one day to get but an end to these services. So I think someone is after making a boo boo on there end. By keeping my services running..

As they say the best things in life are free :)

    Princess Peach...

    What would you do,
if i said, 'i love you',
    you rock my internet,
I just wish we had met.

    Our only encounter,
    was at a boards beer,
    Though I tried for Movember,
    I still envied your beard.

    I left the event,
    unhappy, unkempt,
    But despite by forlorn,
I went home and watched porn.

And I'm not even a poet (the above is probably good reasoning why I'm not a poet though :( )

You should ring up and cancel, presuming you don't want the services anymore. The longer it goes on the chances are they'll cop.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

So, you asked for them, then cancelled them - which they didn't do - and are now using them but are not being charged for them?

    Is the bold bit right?

Well if it's a legit, proper, up and running real-life company, they may demand that you pay for the services and bill you anyway, once they realise what's happening (especially if they can prove that you've used them).

    So just be careful.

Not a good poet, maybe in the running for belly boxing champion of Ireland though .

I would say nothing but prepare yourself for them taking the money just in case. Leave enough in your account or keep it aside in case they request.

Read the T&Cs, you can be sure they have a clause in there in case this happens. I wouldn't think you'd have a leg to stand on if they ask for it later.

Or if you believe in Karma then phone them straight away, let them know and then all will be well with the universe.

Yeah that's the one alright .. The nice lady said a note would be made about it

It's a real, big company. Think I will seek legal advice on this tomorrow.

I think it's the same with the ESB.

Know a guy who just got estimated readings for years and then got a bill for €2,300 when they finally read the meter.

They just made him pay €500 and told him to make sure to get readings every quarter in future.

If it's vodafone, they'll add it up and take it out eventually! I'd sort it out now before the bill spirals out of control.
