Hi, I can never find any nice home hair dyes for red heads. I want something natural looking, not FATM, just doesn't suit me. Does anyone have any tips?

I'm a redhead, more of an auburn nowadays and sometimes I use henna, been using it on and off for 3-4 years now. Its messy but gives a good colour, and its cheap.

I can't use henna, they say not to use it if you've got chemicals in your hair, and my hairs been through a lot.

Most dyes for redheads have too much brown, and my hair just absorbs it like crazy, if the colours one shade darker then my hair it'll be five shades darker then the box. Might go buy hair colours from hair dresser supply shops, but a little scared of that!
