split dtt signal

    Hi
    I have 1 TV connected to a high gain UHF aerial to receive dtt an all is fine my question is as follows ,i want to connect a second TV from the cable coming from the aerial , will a y splitter do in the attic or do i need something amplified if so what exactly,Thanks

    A splitter like this 2 way might do depending on what the signal is like (better than those plastic Y things) otherwise a distribution amp will be required.
