Very handy to have, hopefully these will be published on the Bus Eireann website too?

Good maps. It would be nice if they'd indicate frequencies on them too.

    I nearly got excited there.

When visiting relatives in Renmore in Galway, I ALWAYS take a taxi or walk to and from town, as the bus timetable/ route was imposible to figure out
(if the bus route were a sport it'd be cricket, no matter how much good will you have to study whats going on, it remains a confused overcomplicated over-elaborate mess, and you're none the wiser after it all!!)

The map makes it look straight forward, (Route 2 - green line running south west of centre)
but its as much a balls as ever if you glance at the timetable:

    good maps

why does every route in Waterford have "C" on it?
Is it just to designate "city" number rather than suburban/intercity ones?

"Map not to scale, for reference only" - is that them saying that you can't rely on the map at all?

While much better than the previous version they had, the scale is utterly distorted.

That map is fantastic, compared to the one they have had in the past (it's so bad that it's not even on the web, and it's pretty much impossible to read.)

However it's not only "not to scale", but the directions are a bit out and the route numbers really should have their suffixes on 'em to be useful.

eg to get to the rellies in Renmore, you need to go south east on the 2E bus, not the 2W or 2D.

And it nicely covers up the fact that there's a big chunk on the west side of the city that's not served by BE at all: another company does it, and no, the ticketing's not integrated.

When did BE's city services join the tax-saver scheme? Is it done the usual way (point to point ticket) or are they just using the regular monthly tickets (unlimited travel on any part of the city network)?

I understand there was some sort of integrated ticketing in Cork since the Midleton line opened, but I get the impression they only really sign up for Taxsaver recently.
