Missing bottom of screen

    Hi,
I was using my netbook on holidays and when I came home I noticed it had updated (Windows). Now I can't see the bottom of the screen (10.2') no matter what resolution I use. I've tried changing all the graphics options in Control Panel, but no luck. However when I plug it into a projector, the screen is a perfect 4:3.
    Any ideas wecome :(

The resolution should be 1024*600 try downloading the graphics drivers for your laptop.

    Cheers,
I've only two options in resolution: 1024*768 or 800*600
I also tried to update the drivers but no new updates are available.
    Still no good,

Look like your laptop graphic card is having trouble with switching on between two displays or screens whatever you call. its basically thinking your laptop screen is a projector screen.

sometimes rebooting the laptop do the trick
    or
the next thing that you can try is to to get into safe mode by pressing F8 key while you startup your laptop, once you are in safemode reset the display settings to the minimal resolution and try a restart and see if you have more resolution options available to play around with
    or
the final step would be to Uninstall the present driver, reboot the laptop and try reinstalling the latest driver that you can get from your laptop manufactures website.

    hope this helps.
