The timer doesn't effect the temperature... the immersion has a built in temperature stat.
You might need to have it coming on for at least 1 hour before you want to use the water ( especially if set the bath elememnt) .
You may need to check both elements are working ( bath and sink )..you need an ampmeter/ clamp on meter. Call an electrician to check element.

It is sometimes trial and error to get the timings right just experiment... especially is your week day usage if different to your weekend usuage.

Previously the heater was probably on for a long time before you were using it and heating the water up straight away after you drew hot water out of the cylinder. Therfore it always seemed/ stayed hot .

    Also:
Is the clock working... i.e turning when switched to "timed "? if not you may have wired it wrongly. The constant on will still work in this instance.

Hi ,thanks for reply ,yes previous to timer switch it would be on for 8- 9 hours a day every day:eek: so maybe that is why it now seems hotter as regards wiring the switch is fitted before the immersion swith and just has Lin Nin and vice versa and have left the immersion switch on bath and constantly on as timer will over rule that ,thanks again .
