I was on the bus today and say a women pushing a pram wearing a nice green shiny rainmack about hip to knee length. It had a half belt on the back and a hood. Looked really nice. Where can I get one in Dublin?

Do you remember how much they cost and what colours?

What do you mean 'shiny' macks. Were they like wetlook or gloss?

Gap in Arnotts had Black and Green Macs / Parkas a bit like you describe. They look plain on the mannequin, but are really nice on. The green one is a vivid sap green kind of colour.
