PS3 Problem

    I may be in the wrong forum but i have a problem with my PS3. A message comes up saying "The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored" I have tried restoring but the message keeps coming up.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem? does the PS3 need a new hard disk? anyone know anyone in the western region who can take a look at it? I am just after buying black ops as well.

    Apologies i am just after seeing the console forum can a mod move it here please

    Google the problem and see what you get, seems like you might need a new drive.

    Cheap enough tho, since its just a laptop drive.

    The OP should be able format it from that screen.
    If it happens again id be looking at a new drive....
