Fitting an Expansion Vessel

    Hi,

the expansion vessel on the back of my gas boiler if gone, water is coming out when I open the air valve. Repressurising it hasn't worked either. The PRV is opening every time the heating is on.

Just wondering where would be the best location to fit an expansion vessel and what size should I get? Also where is a good place to get one?

Its a four bedroom house with about 10 radiators on the system, no idea what the volume of water is........

I would use 12L up to about 12 rads, having a bigger vessel shouldn't really matter tho
