Incorrect Insulation

Just looking for advice, opinions or if anyone went thought the same thing as I want to take this to court.

I bought an apartment in Limerick about 5 years back and since then there has been an ongoing case with the management company and the builders as the noise levels in the apartment are unbearable,

It turns out that the builders didn’t insulate between the flooring of the apartments correctly and therefore that is why they noise is so bad.

Also it says in the lease agreement that we have to have soft flooring, not tiles or timber and they say this is most of the problem. (The show home had wooden floors throughout and WAS soundproofed correctly).

What happens now, should I go away and change all my flooring and make my upstairs neighbour do the same before I take this to court, if I do so I need to be sure I have a case as I just cant afford the cost to be doing it for no reason – (upstairs neighbours cant hear a sound from my apartment as it is)
