Where are some interesting places to go north of Hamburg and in Southern Denmark?

I'm in Flensburg at the moment and want to do a bit of exploring; I've wide interests so suggest anything, as long as it doesn't cost a ton!

Take a trip to the Northsea, it's not really far (and I personally prefer it to the Baltic) visit the North Friesian islands (not necessarily Sylt, but Föhr and Amrum you can actually walk between the two islands at certain times - NEVER do this on your own though it's too dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, but they have guided tours), or Rømø (DK) how about a trip to the Halligen ot to Helgoland?

Friedrichstadt (known as "das Hollandstädchen") is also very beautiful

Tøndern in Denmark is a lovely little town (you can find it on Street View) and you could always visit the "real" Legoland in Billund (ok so not quite in the south of Denmark, but well worth a visit)

Flensburg is a great wee spot though, lived there for a while too, loved it, great for walks and trips to Denmark, great nightlife, and lovely friendly people.

Oh, how I miss Northern Germany... :(
