Last week I bought a iPhone 4 off Donedeal thinking it was a great bargin it was a 32gb model, factory unlocked with a receipt and all.It all seemed rather genuine. What i got yesterday in the post was a iPhone clone  straight away I rang the seller and the phone number seems to be unavaliable.
I have the account holders name and all account details. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated as im severly out of pocket... is the gaurds the only option??

This ad also looks very similar to the ad I bought mine off

Has you been speaking to him before over the same number?

Tell me you didn't use Western Union!

People whose name is Michael in Irish (i.e. Micheál) ...

    Still dodgy as fupp, though.

As mentioned, how did you pay ?

Donedeals should help you but if cash....

At that price its very, very cheap and tbh should be a pointer to stay well away

However its done and lets hope you can get something back

Payment was through bank transfer I know all about western union! I got in contact with Donedeal they just told me go to gaurds, which I did they are going to try and get me an address from the bank so I can send solicitors letter to the address. They basically said I have no leg to stand on because the seller could say they sent a genuine iPhone.

Im also thinking that the number I used to get in contact with the seller was an 02 number would they have any info on the seller?

Even if O2 give you the details for who owns that phone number, it was probably bought as a 'pay as you go' with no ID or if they produced ID it was probably false or if not they have probably moved from that address. I wouldn't bother pursuing this line, they wouldn't be using a mobile phone if it was capable of leading the cops or disgruntled customers to them.
