I am looking to get one of these....http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5321832.htm

and also get a quad LNB fitted to the dish. I also have a terrestrial aerial with a booster that gives me DTV on RTE 1, 2, etc. What I am wondering is, can I somehow connect the terrestrial aerial to the freesat recorder so as to record the Irish channels?

    Thanks in advance

No it can't be done - a SAT/DTT combo box or TV is the only way you'll have both on the one piece of equipment.
