    Hi

Just learning drums, have gotten to a point where i can play basic patterns and hold a beat-- i think anyway Trying to play with some people or even just a guitarist for a bit of craic.

I am still very much learning and don't expect any crazy fills, i'm more into keeping a beat. learning all the time anyway but if you need an intermediate+ drummer i can't pretend to be any better than I am. Not trying to form a band but sure just see what happens.

I live in the country, 12-13 miles from city on the N69. I can bring in the drums into the city if needed

    Pm me if interested

Oh lots of stuff. 60's Rock, 70's rock, The strokes, white stripes, Al green Curtis mayfield are thing i like to play along to (To all of these I play the shell beat, e.g. some Mayfield drumming is quite advanced) I also try to play some arctic monkeys stuff but man that drummer is class and very busy!

I also like Dylan, Young, Captain Beefheart, Hendrix, and love big band stuff, and getting into Jazz and over time will try to develop my drumming towards that more. long term goal.

And i love loads loads more but they would be things i have listed to in depth. I don't listen to much newish ort alternative stuff but a band i found on metacritic that i love is Spoon. What a great name! Oh yea modest mouse I enjoy too. Not fanatical but they are good.

I used have a thing for seattle grunge :pac: but i could get back into it.

Sounds good dude! Good to see more people into classic rock!

I'd be up for a jam, but I'm into stuff that you probably wouldn't be interested in at all, I'm mostly into Blues and Metal.

Well i do love blues as well, don't understand how i failed to mention that. True metal isn't my thing but at this stage i'd gave anything a go, metal might be too fast paced for me right now but was working on some blues drumming recently and it is not so bad, again at a moderate pace.
