Anyone else like me??

Anybody else passed all stages but still waiting on on getting sent for vetting and medical? My merit score isnt the greatest over the 900 mark i am RC and hoping that may still give me a chance. Got a letter last week saying to inform the psni of any changes to my personal details etc

Am i still in with a chance? I know i was at one of the very last AC days held so mabe its just not my turn yet, but i would like to at least get my vetting forms so i can get them away seeing it takes months for them to clear, and then hopefully i will make the March 2011 deadline in being offered a job!!!

Fustrated wouldnt be the word for how im feeling! Although im happy ive got as far as i have seeing it was my first ever attempt, i guess waiting is all i can do!

I'm the same as you okies, Im a rc ,got the march 2011 letter and got an ac score of 49 what did you get? I've got my vetting back in June and checked it today and it has cleared. I'm hoping for a medical date now

My AC score was 48 or 49 too i think, its doing my head in, ive rang the appointments office and they say my details have been forwarded to vetting and OH but still no word! We at least you are a bit further on than me!! Ill prob recieve my vetting forms at the end of Feb 2011 a few week before the last people get the call for GV!! Boooooo

Yip, I'm in the same boat.

NRC in the top 300, but nothing more than a letter to say my application is progressing.

I rush home from work every day to see if the postie has brought me anything but nought yet.

Even if there is no more recruitment drives for a year or two they may fill the 'natural wastage' with people on the merit list.

I fluked the 'final stages' letter passed everything.

Noone knows for certain how many more intakes etc there will be. We can only hope. I know I am.

have you asked about vetting forms ? would agree should have them as can take months to clear but its even more frustrating reading peoples replies who have a low/worst merit but called up due to basically vetting cleared

please dont read to much into that, its not a jab its more JEALOUSLY lol

Nothing at all, although I'm around the 300 mark on the merit list. I really thought I would have heard something by now.

Gee , not sure there is much point e-mailing vetting if you have not yet received forms. They may not be in a position to tell you anything.
I can give you their e-mail if you want though ?

Im sure your right delancey. I might try and put it to the back of my mind 'till the new year (yeah right!).

I would just love to have vetting started.

Which letter did you get? The progressing one or the one that said wait until march.

RC with merit score off over 1300 but everything passed got the wait till march letter

Gee-22, the letter I got was the progressing one thats why im so confused. Dont really know who to ring and ask about it! Im a bit worried as from what youve all been saying the vetting process is the one that takes ages and im passed my medical and still have no idea what happened to the vetting forms

It does seem odd.

You could email recruitment, but they don't like you doing it and they never replied to my email.

But you might not having anything to lose, the worst they can do is not reply.

I think Ill just test my patience till mid Jan - patience is definitely something I gained from this whole experience, though its been running low lately lol..
