I'm going on a casino trip soon and want to make just one large bet. What game would you recommend I bet on?

Depends on what you fancy?
Do you understood how the games work Blackjack, Roulette etc?
Do you just want a 50/50 bet?
If so, it's either Red/Black, Odds/Evens, 1-18/19-36 on the Roulette Wheel.
Blackjack is a little harder as you are betting on the cards before you see them,

I agree that it has to be Roulette. the 50/50 bets mentioned are good but also the dozen bets (1-12, 13-24 or 25-36) are a bit of fun and more adventurous for a single bet. Tables like Blackjack are only fun if you're sitting down for a while, 1 hand is not exciting enough, roulette is the only thing I can think of that you can have only 1 bet but also excitement.

I suck at roulette. Only did it once in Vegas, 3 bets, on black each time. First spin, red. Second spin, red. Third spin, green 00.

ive never bet on black in my life..

Went on quiet the roll at blackjack in Aus for arond 4 months las week, i tracked every time i went and how much i won or lost, ended up $8253.
Used to bring 500 to the $5 table and walk away once i had made $200 or if i lost the $500, used to bet big when i was on a roll and move down or take a break when i was losing, i only lost the $500 7 times.
Haven't played since but will be when i go to Vegas:cool:

Vegas roulette tables are a bit of a scam, they have 0 and 00 on their tables.

learn how to play craps if u cant its the best game there by a mile for having the crack.

Anyone who says blackjack doesn't know anythign about blackjack, really isn't the game for one big bet

Well i disagree a small bit, why not stand and watch blackjack and wait for a hot shoe and then backbet someone.

Well, there is no just thing at "HOT" in terms of a streak, a few wins in a row for one player is just luck and doesn't mean that the shoe is in your favour. (as opposed to a count)
Plus more importantly it would still mean putting all you money in on one deal and you are losing a huge amount of value by not having anything behind to double down or split with,
