Hey may be moving to Ashtown soon and currently working in Tallaght. I was wondering do many other people do the same via car and what route do they take.

I basically dont want to be going through the toll bridge every day if i can avoid it but unsure of taking the other routes around the park to get to it due to traffic.

Thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

    Maybe try this:

Ashtown, through Phoenix Park, Islandbridge, South Circular Road, Con Colbert Road, west along the N4 to the M50 junction (junction no.7 I think it is), then south to Tallaght.

Since the Islandbridge gate is exit-only, your northbound journey home would involve trying either the Chapelizod or Parkgate Street entrances through the Phoenix Park.

Or Chapelizoid, Ballyferomot and then either through Ballymount or up the Long Mile Road, N7 and Belgard Road, depending where in Tallaght you're going. You'd have to give a few routes a try to figure out which is best traffic wise in the mornings.

That would depend on what part of Tallaght.

A bit long - I would think bus to Blackhall Place and LUAS from Museum would be quicker.
