    any extras?

3k is probably the absolute best you could do i'd say.

If you put it up for 3k you probably wont get that, go a little bit more

I would have thought €3k was very strong money for an 01 Passat 2.0 petrol in a private sale.

no not really, all electric..but nothing really other than the alloys.

1.5/2k is a more realistic value but you'll never sell it im sorry to say.

A 2.0 litre Passat will be tough enough to sell as it only had 115bhp and anyone looking for a Passat tends to look for the diesel. I honestly cannot see anyone paying €3k for an almost 10 year old one. I would take any offer over €2k.

Ah now - anything will sell if it's priced right! I was thinking around the same money as yourself (maybe a shade lower), but i'm not massively well-educated on values.

you or living in dream land but you can ask what you like i have heard stories of lunatics ot there paying well above the odds for it and there is some who actually believe its a good car because the price is dearer

I Sold a 01 1.8T Tiptronic Highline Passat a month ago for €2.5k with 86k on the clock, leather, factory xenon lights, loads of extras, mint, so I would expect yours to sell for sub €2k.

Could have got close to €3k, but for no waiting I had a confirmed sale after an hour on done deal and cash was in my hand 23hrs later.

Anything will sell at the right price.

Ok maybe never sell was a tad strong i apologise,i meant to say it will never even if pirced realistically at 1.5 or 2k,to sell it you'll have to drop the price considerably(i would guess 5-800 euro and it might sell),who is going to buy a 2.0 petrol passat with so many 1.9 turf burners on the market especially in todays climate.

Sorry if it sounds harsh op but just being realistic.

had an 02 , 2.0 petrol passat earlier this year - was a company car
(All electric, no alloys, 120k on clock, climate control, conmfy seats generalyl in good running condition)
traded in for new car and we got 3.5k

    Some encouragement:

I sold a 99 Passat Estate 1.6 with 108K on it, no particular extras bar alloys in relatively good condition for 1500 Euro about a month back. Sold after 4 days on adverts (it actually sold too quick for my liking!). I gave 50 Euro for fuel though so technically 1450 :-)

Good luck anyway, if I was to guess i think you will get 2300-2400 for your car. Put it out for 2650 and take it from there. Always start with an odd price, human brains take longer to process odd numbers. I think.
