On my first test i had :
Two grade 2 faults on Position Turning Left
1 grade 2 on progress moving off and 1 on progress turning right.
I also had 3 on prgress turning left..

My next test is next monday and i really want to pass! Advice!?!
The first time round i had very little practice and was just using the instructors car, now i am insured on my parents car and have got in a good bit of practice.
Im wondering if anyone has any tips for improving what i failed on first time?

My advice is that you don't need any advice. Five of the seven marks you listed are for progress which will be less of a problem in a car you drive more and now that you have more experience and confidence. Drive with this confidence and keep left on your left turns. Sounds too easy?

I have a question, is it OK to wear sunglasses?

Definately ok to wear sunglasses - during my test it was one of those annoying days where the sun kept popping up from behind the clouds and blinding me, I must have put them on and off about 4 times!

That's a weird question because I assumed when taking a test the Examiner checks whether your eyes are constantly observing.

Also if you were taking your glasses on and off did you pull in to do so? If your taking your hand off the steering wheel it'd most likely a grade 3?

Common question. The answer is yes.
It makes it so much easier to see on those rare sunny days. The examiner will look at your eyes if they can. If they can't, they can't. But can only mark observation mistakes they see you not doing. As opposed to mistake they don' see you doing. Often people have normal glasses with thick arms that obscure their eyes.

Nah, I had them on the top of my head and generally put them on when stopped at lights. I think I did pull them down when I was driving but its like a split second with one hand off the steering wheel - my tester didnt seem to have any problem with it! I'd imagine though its much safer to be able to see during those periods of sunshine, rather than worrying about half a second with only one hand on the wheel.

Having put in A good bit of practice will help you a lot. Its all about practice.
When turning left follow the profile of the kerb,Try not to dawdle at any time, keep a steady progress.
    Very best of luck
