Ive been scouring the internet for various speach to text concerters, ive fund many but cant differentiate between them and some seen quite spammy.

I was wondering if anyone out there has experience using speach to text software and which would you recommend? Id like the option to convert .wav files to text so i could record during the day on a dictaphone etc and convert the files to text later on.

Ive looked at something like nuance but its quite expensive. are there open source options/cheaper ones? How good is nuance

anyone any ideas... cheers

Have you tried one for the ipad or iphone. This one is cheep.
