    Hi there,

I got a 1tb seagate drive. After deleting the partition via disk management and formatting the drive to FAT 32 for use to the PS3 (ehow.com instrctions). I have only 429 gb free (with nothing on the drive yet) where's the other 500gb go? Is there any way to get it back while keeping the FAT32 file system?

EDIT: when I look at the drive in Disk Management it says 429.48mb is FAT32 and 502.03gb iis unallocated. How do I allocate the other half as well?

I would say it's pretty obvious you didn't delete the partition correctly...

You might need to format after you delete it or something, there should be specific instructions on the seagate website on how to partition and format correctly
