Itunes to iPhone 4 help

Hi, Just bought a mac book pro the weekend,all my iTunes was on my pc so I transferred all my artist etc to my external harddrive plugged it into my mac transferred everything over no problem. I can put songs onto my iPod nano no hassle but when I try to do the same with my iPhone 4 it will not let me! When I drag the song…

Hi,

Just bought a mac book pro the weekend,all my iTunes was on my pc so I transferred all my artist etc to my external harddrive plugged it into my mac transferred everything over no problem.

I can put songs onto my iPod nano no hassle but when I try to do the same with my iPhone 4 it will not let me! When I drag the song up to my iphone4 I just get the red line? Anyone know what to do cheers.

Make sure your iPhone is set to "Manually manage music" rather than sync.
