    Summary:
By aiding Lumen, Dexter puts himself on a collision course with Debra and the homicide division, and things get worse when he's brought in to work a horrific crime scene; and Debra's investigation into the Santa Muerte killings leads her into a deadly confrontation with the killers. Meanwhile, Quinn begins to question his accomplice in his investigation of Dexter.

Very good in parts, but still rather slow-paced.

An improvement on the disaster that was last week, but still nothing special. At least the story's moving on slightly. Are they setting Dexter up to have a happy ending where he can have emotional connections with people AND satisfy his killing urges without having to keep those parts of his life seperate? Great, that'll be fascinating D:

Shiite ... especially that getting Dexter to be religious, wtf ? so against character - put in there for the americans so typical to associate good with religion - rubbish.

not even a funny masuka line to bring it up a bit.

I enjoyed this episode but feel that it is 2 or 3 weeks too late.

I wish Lumen was in a metal drum of Formaldehyde.

I was always pretty indifferent to Julia Stiles, she never really came across my radar, now I seriously dislike her. Ruining the show so she is.

No where near as good as last weeks.

Throw in Batista and the whiny wife and it would be better.

All I'll say is I seriously hope these storylines come together in the most amazing finale to a series of Dexter ever. After the first couple of episodes this season has just been going straight downhill.

I'd like to see everything converge on Dexter and the series end with the big reveal, next series being Dexter on the run. Anything else and will be disappoint :(

    Patience...

Prepare for disappointment so I'd say. I'm hoping for the same thing, but the momentum isn't leading there methinks. Instead I'd say Liddy and Quinn will destroy each other before they destroy Dexter, thus paving the way for a crap season 6. I hope I'm wrong.

    Pretty good
I would agree that it is slow paced but I like the diversity between this season and the others. It feels almost as if they are really concentrating on telling the story in this season and so far I have really enjoyed it!

I liked this episode for some reason, despite it being a let down. The seem to be setting up the get out clauses for Dexter. The first signs that Quinn will drop the investigation into Dexter because he loves Deb, setting up Lumen as a ready-made partner for Dexter, but one he doesn't have to keep secrets from. I don't think that second one will come true, more likely she'll either get killed, caught or just leave when the killing is done. A killing partner for Dexter? Didn't we already do this with Jimmy Smiths, and wasn't it crap?

Passed the half way mark now, so surely there's something great still to come. There just has to be.

I can't see Lumen getting killed, too reminiscent of Rita, although only if they go down the (inevitable?) Dexter/Lumen romance road.

I don't understand the general love for Julia Stiles or what she's meant to have done of note.

OK episode, better than last week but that applies to what I left in the toilet this morning as well.

I've gone from looking forward immensely to Dexter episodes, to just having it on in the background while I do something else.

LaGuerta's sharp defensive response when Angel said all policemen make bad calls was promising. Hopefully she'll do something interesting like blame Deb.
She probably won't though. She's an entirely different character to who she was in series 1, from what I recall. It's all so bland.

I enjoyed this episode. But overall, I don´t know what to think of this season thus far. I mean, I recall loving every bit of seasons 1,2 and 4, and hating season 3, but this... this is just ... ok. It´s average. It´s meh. It´s Deal Or No Deal while eating your dinner.

    Where´s the excitement?

It's interesting where they're taking the Lumen thing. From a Miguel type accomplice to possible wife in 1 episode. Hmmmmm.

Dexter is gonna have to at least pretend he's getting it on with Lumen, as it's the only explanation that would appease Quinn when he confronts him about her.

He didn't get religious, he accepted the nanny. I thought that was obvious. He said it

I'm definitely losing any excitement about new episodes of Dexter this season... I still don't see the point of the season TBH and I was hoping they would not go down the path of having Lumen as a romantic interest for Dexter (she's way too similar to Rita, who was fairly "broken" when they first met)... But now it seems that is exactly where they are going, with the added bonus of Dexter not having to hide his killing habit from her like he had to with Rita...

Everything else is pretty useless, "take it" guy & most useless chief of security ever, Batista and LaGuerta, the Quinn/Deb loveathon even RoboCop investigating Dex... So, all the "dirt" he could find on him was that Lumen is shacked up at his old house? Where the hell was he when Dex was skulking around breaking into Boyd's house or last week when he grabbed his latest victim, etc? Seems very convenient that he is never tailing Dexter when he is about to do something dodgy...

What was once a show about a monstrous serial killer who killed for good is now a show about......relantionships.

    Ugghhhhh.

LaGuerta is getting knocked off I reckon.

Either her or Batista, at least.
